I’ve always loved the design of Nanlite fixtures and this is another fresh new look. It’s pretty lightweight for a 500W fixture. And the price is perfect for my budget! I have used this for ton of productions already and now looking to add either additional FC-500B or the FC-300B.

For the price, this light is hard to beat given it's power. Don't knock the case. It's very useful and is impact resistant. Plenty good for hauling around locally. Being able to tilt the light and lock it down without teeth is really nice. My only knock is that it didn't come with a clamp mount for the power unit. The little strap to hang it on a stand works, but the power unit will swing and bang against the stand when you move it.
