The compact, lightweight byrd Meadowlark 2 Lightweight Folding Knife is distinguished from other Spyderco knives by the the shape of its thumb hole: unlike the Trademark Round Hole on most Spyderco blades, the byrd knives have a comet-shaped hole. The hole makes it easy to open the knife with one hand. Made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, the drop point blade features a partially serrated edge and the fiberglass reinforced nylon handle affords a secure and comfortable grip.
