The aluminum-alloy housing is sealed so tightly that the M7Xi is submersible down to 33 .

The MSR2 reticle features a 0.04 MRAD center aiming dot that aids in targeting at the highest magnification levels. Low-profile turrets operate at 1/10 MRAD per click.The M7Xi is nitrogen filled for fogproof performance, shockproof, and operates in temperatures from -40° F to 160° F.
