Created to address needs of tactical shooters, Trijicon`s HD Night Sight Set for Walther P99/PPQ Pistol consists of a front sight and a rear U-notch and features three battery-free tritium phosphor lamps and an orange phosphorescent disk that glows in the dark. The front sight has one tritium lamp encircled by a photoluminescent orange disk, while the rear U-notch only bears two tritium lamps, one on each wing. This configuration enhances visibility and fast target acquisition in transient lighting conditions. For added durability, the sight`s lamps are encapsulated into aluminum cylinders and have silicone cushions. For protection against gun-cleaning agents and proper distribution of light, the lamps are also sealed with sapphire windows.
