Hawke Sport Optics 1-4x24 Vantage 30 WA Riflescope (L4A Fiber Dot Reticle, Matte Black)
The Hawke 1-4x24 Vantage 30 WA Riflescope fits the niche of a compact, durable, and lightweight scope with a fine-featured illuminated L4A Fiber Dot reticle that allows precise aiming without covering the background. Its outline resembles the German #4 style, where a target dot is surrounded by a fine crosshair and three thin posts. To generate bright and vivid images, the optical system is outfitted with precision-ground lenses that are treated with 11 layers of antireflective multicoatings. To ensure outstanding image clarity, with no ghost images or stray light, the interior of the housing is covered with a special black finish that does not reflect any light. This iteration of the series also features a wider angle (WA) of view: 126-31.5 field of view at 100 yards.
To match the quality of the optics, the housing is designed with strength, durability, and ergonomics in mind. Its defining features are a CNC-machined, a single-piece 30mm maintube, a scratch-resistant anodized finish, fog and waterproof performance, and a high-torque, nonslip, rubberized zoom ring. To protect windage and elevation turrets from accidental bumps, they have low-profile caps, and to guard optics from dirt and debris, the scope ships with two lens covers.
