The camera tray has a standard 1/4 -20 mount with the capability to fully adjust the placement and distance from the camera to the eyepiece to achieve the perfect position for the lens to be centered with minimal vignetting. A convenient swing-arm system allows the camera to be moved away from the eyepiece for visual use without having to dismount the whole adapter. When moved back into place, the camera distance and placement settings are retained for fast and easy transitions from observing to photographing. Made of both aluminum and plastic, the adapter weighs just 7.6 ounces, yet is engineered to support cameras up to 3.3 pounds.
