Designed for the Newtonian model of their NT Steeltrack focuser, the Alpine Astronomical Baader 2-to-1.25 Reducer allows you to use the smaller and more common 1.25 size eyepieces and accessories in the focuser s larger 2 holder. This conventional holder has an easy-to-use thumbscrew that tightens against a brass compression ring so it won t mark or mar the eyepiece s nosepiece. The reducer has a short 4.5mm optical height to minimize its effect on the back-focus distance, and has internal threads for installing 2 eyepiece filters.
