This LS-T9 Red Laser Collimator from Neewer makes it easy to check if your reflector telescope's optical elements are aligned for the sharpest image. The aluminum, battery-powered device fits directly into the 1.25" or 2" eyepiece tube of your Newtonian or Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and uses its red laser to help you fine-tune your optics. Its body design features a cutaway side wall that exposes an angled target the point where the laser beam strikes the target upon return from the primary mirror provides the information you need to properly compensate for any distortion. The collimator has one setting for simple operation and produces a well-defined circular dot for easy visibility. Weather isn't a factor the collimator shows accurate results at temperatures as lowe as -22° F.

Does the job. Not particularly accurate but for the price good enough.
