With the Losmandy Single-Axis Camera Rotation Mount you can now quickly and easily mount a DSLR camera onto EQ, alt-az, or motorized mount heads for wide-field, Solar (with proper filters), and Lunar astrophotography. The base is compatible with Losmandy s large D or smaller V-plates for use with the two most popular plate sizes, while a standard 1/4 -20 threaded post on top enables fast attachment of a camera with a full 360° rotation for precise shot selection without the need for tools thanks to a tightening large knob. Made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy, it sports a scratch and corrosion-resistant anodized finish to protect it. When using a D-plate, the height from the top of the plate to the top of the camera mount is 1.80 when using a V-plate, the height is 1.55 .
