Vixen Optics Polarie Dovetail Slide Bar DD
Designed to properly balance heavy loads like large-format DSLR bodies with long telephoto lenses or OTAs on their Polarie tracking head, the Vixen Optics Polarie Dovetail Slide Bar DD fits onto their optional Multi Mounting Block saddle. Your gear fits on one end using your own camera head or the optional Quick Release Panorama Clamp, while the opposite side accepts the optional counterweight bar for proper balancing. To aid in precise balancing, the bar can be positioned anywhere in the saddle by simply loosening the dovetail clamps and sliding the bar as required. To conserve weight without sacrificing strength, the bar is made of a lightweight and strong aluminum alloy. Only the bar is offered here, all other accessories need to be obtained separately, including the primary Polarie tracking head, and all the optional gear attaches to the bar via 1/4 -20 mounts.
