Daystar Filters assembled this 50mm Binocular Filter and Solar Glasses Fun Kit to give you everything you need to view and/or photograph the sun safely and easily. All components in the kit are made of the 12312-2 ISO-certified SOLARITE film, which stops more than 99.999% of intense light, plus 100% of harmful IR and UV radiationrevealing large sunspots and super granules on the solar surface. The kit includes five solar viewing glasses, and two 50mm Universal Lens Filters (ULF). The pair of lens filters can be used on a single binocular, or individually on camera lenses, spotting scopes, telescope dew shields or other optics. Each filter will gear with an outside diameter from 50-69mm (1.96-2.71" ). The filter has a clear aperture of 50mm, so vignetting may occur when used on lenses and optics that approach the maximum recommended diameter in the size range.
