Celestron 94220 Overview
Adapt your PowerSeeker 60AZ or 60EQ nighttime telescope to safely view the sun with Celestron s EclipSmart White-Light Solar Filter. The filter s retaining ring is modeled on the scope s original lens cap for a safe and snug fit. For enhanced safety, the filter comes with three nylon thumb screws that tighten onto the dew shield without marring or marking to make sure the filter doesn t come off accidentally.
Made of a proprietary Mylar film, the filter is ISO 12312-2 compliant for safe solar viewing, blocking 99.999% of intense light across the entire visible spectrum and 100% of harmful ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) radiation resulting in high-contrast views of the sun in a neutral color. At just 1-ounce, the filter will provide the safety required to observe the sun and all phases of a solar eclipses without adding significant weight to the front of your OTA.
