This filter displays the sun in a neutral white filtration for images that appear in the sun s natural yellow color for an excellent solar experience. Made of a tear-resistant solar-viewing film, it is coated on both sides to eliminate the effects of pinholes while the intentional wrinkles improve image contrast and will not affect image quality or user safety. The filter ring is made of a durable and lightweight aluminum alloy coated with a reflection-limiting anodized finish. The filter threads allow it to screw onto the front of lenses with a 67mm filter thread. For the safety of your eyes and equipment, never look or point the camera directly at the sun through a lens without proper solar filters as permanent damage to the gear and your eyes will occur.

This filter is designed specifically for photography applications. This filter is not suitable for direct solar viewing with the naked eye, including with optical viewfinders.

Safety Tips

• Do not use this photographic filter for visual observing of the sun.
• Be sure to examine the filter before each use to ensure there are no holes or tears.
• Cover the camera lens, do not use the lens without filter. Covering it ensures that no one looks through it accidentally.
• Wait for at least 15 minutes after affixing the filter to the lens to ensure that the filter and your equipment equalize temperature.
