The USB to Canon LP-E6 Dummy Battery Intelligent Cable from GyroVu allows the use a USB power source to power devices that use a Canon LP-E6 battery, providing continuous camera operation in applications where stopping to change batteries is not suitable. This dummy battery fits into the camera s existing battery socket and features a 40" USB power lead, and the built-in emulator chip delivers battery status data to the camera.
Proper operation of this adapter requires a USB power source with a minimum 5V/2A output, however 5V/3A is recommended.
