To record to an external USB SSD and/or to record with high frame rates with your GH7 mirrorless camera, you'll need this from Panasonic. This AC power adapter can power your camera from mains power. It is required to power the camera when you need to record high-resolution video externally using an optional USB SSD to ensure enough power is provided to maintain high-resolution file recording and high frame rates over 61 fps. The AC cable adapter is also required by the separately available DMW-DCC18 coupler, which can be used when the camera's USB-C port is occupied.
