Vello BG-C9-2 Battery Grip for Canon 5D Mark III, 5DS, and 5DS R Cameras

This BG-C9-2 Battery Grip from Vello is designed for use with the Canon EOS 5D Mark III, 5DS, and 5DS R digital SLR cameras, and accepts one or two Canon LP-E6 type batteries. With two batteries installed, shooting time is effectively doubled, or you can use the grip with a single battery while a second battery is recharging. The grip s battery tray is compatible with the Canon AC Adapter Kit ACK-E6, which provides for an uninterrupted power supply. The grip includes a secondary tray designed to hold six AA batteries, which can be used as a short-term power option when your LP-E6 batteries are exhausted.

The BG-C9-2 offers a comfortable and secure way to hold a DSLR in the vertical orientation, and features an alternate shutter release button, an AF-ON button, AF point selection, an AE lock/FE lock button, a multi-controller, a multi-function button, and a main dial. A Control Lock switch prevents your settings from accidentally being changed or the shutter from being released. Designed with an anti-slip rubber grip for improved handling, the grip also features a tripod socket and a storage compartment for the camera s battery door so it won t get lost when you have the battery grip installed.
