The iPowerMAX AACU8 8-Battery LiPo Charger from iPower is compatible exclusively with iPowerMax AA3610 1.5V AA batteries, sold separately. It charges up to eight batteries simultaneously in approximately two hours. The charger features a USB Type-C power power and comes with a matching AC power adapter with a USB cable.
While the charger is designed without status indicators, the compatible AA3610 batteries each have an LED status ring that works when the batteries are inserted in the charger. The ring lights up red to indicate that the battery is charging. It turns off when charging is complete. And it flashes red if the battery is defective.
When the optional batteries are used with the charger, charging is controlled by an intelligent charging module inside the batteries. The charging voltage is automatically adjusted (under 6V), and the charging current is automatically limited (under 500mA).
Other features of the iPowerMAX AACU8 charger include short circuit protection, automatic CV trickle charging, and automatic shut-off when batteries are fully charged.
