Sony ZV-1 Digital Camera Content Creator Kit

This camera is truly a delight. The tripod/grip accessory works really well to help add just a little height if you need it. Even just recording on HD (my computer is very outdated) it caught some really nice footage in an indoor theatre space with limited lighting! User-friendly menus, pretty easy to get the hang of for someone who hasn't handled a camera in over a decade. I really love the flippable viewing screen so I can switch from filming myself to things in front of me and still see everything I'm capturing. I am excited to see how the 4k looks once I have a computer powerful enough to edit that kind of footage on. Really great investment for a vlogger or social media photo/videographer.I named mine Ferdinand because of the little fur toupee/ wind screen that he comes with. This camera has some personality.

This is a good camera for video and photo. The negative side for me is the battery life. You should have at least 3 batteries if you want to go out to take pictures and videos.

I bought three Sony ZV-1. That explains everything. For YouTube, vlogging, especially for travel when you want to go light, this is an excellent choice. I shoot 1080 only. Don't want to deal with 4K, large files, etc. 1080P for online consumption is good enough in my opinion. And this little one, boy oh boy it delivers. Put a small wireless mic and voila you look like a pro. Set it in Intelligent video and if you're a novice, will work fine. I've once forgot to plug in the wireless mic cable , so everything was recorded with the camera's internal mic. Didn't realize it till the shoot was over. I could tell the sound was not as good as the external mic, but was good enough for me to decide not to reshoot. In a pinch the internal mic. works surprisingly good, will save the day. Again I love the size of this little Sony and the quality of the image is real good. Well the Zeiss lens is great no doubt about. Again if you're vlogging, put content on Youtube, social media, travel, this is it. This thing is barely bigger then a credit card and much smaller than my phone. Has a 1 inch sensor, which does pretty good in low light also, much better than any phone that's probably €1200 or even more. Good for B roll. Conclusion. Get it!

I am a prolific Sony shooter professionally , I own two A1s and 3 A7Ss and every lens i can think of, but this model I have bought two of them now for my compliance sign ins only which means very minimal use and they just keep breaking, always just after the warranty ends, repair cost on even simple repairs has made them not worth it. This is a model to avoid for your own use
