Godox Lux Junior Retro Camera Flash (Dark Green)

I bought this to do double duty as both a tiny flash for my fujifilm digital cameras and my Contax G1. I haven't had a chance to shoot film with it yet, because film is way too expensive right now, but it's served its purpose well on the digital format. Of course, you could spend more for something bigger and higher quality, but that's not really what this is for. If you're looking for something portable and unobtrusive, this will do the trick. Plus, the quality is pretty great at this price point.

Retro style is a plus, but it has generous output, ease to use, can use manually as well. Has ability to use with synchro cord and hotshoe allows use with older cameras as well.

Bought for a travel flash to try out and it works pretty well. No TTL but this is meant to be more manual or retro as they say. Overall, pleased with the color for the price. Compact and fun to keep in your kit if you need a small yet powerful flash.

It works perfect on my olympus and sony camera, but with medium size lenses or a little big it makes a lot of shadow because the flash is low

I love this little flash. It works great on my X100V and X-T5, but it's kind of made for manual film cameras so it's a perfect companion for my Pentax Spotmatic F. I wish all modern speedlights had the simple distance scale this thing comes with. Forget Auto mode, you'll want to use this in Manual, and either way it pretty much requires you use full manual exposure on your camera. I'd gotten a bit lazy with aperture priority and auto ISO, and this thing has made me more purposeful about my exposure settings. The flash coverage itself is beautiful, hearkening back to vintage strobes, with virtually no hot spot in the middle thanks to its wide diffuser screen. Just know that it only covers up to 4m distance. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR DIGITAL CAMERAS WITH BUILT-IN FLASH: The camera doesn't recognize there's a flash in the hotshoe so you'll have to find a way to enable flash without triggering the built-in one. The X100V lets you do that by setting Flash Mode to M and Built-in Flash to OFF. Make sure your camera offers this option before buying this flash.

This product is good for the hobbyist or casual fun photographer I could name a lot of things it can't do but just have fun.

Meh. I wouldn't buy it again. I have/had other completely manual flashes. This one does not seem to me to be very repeatable (?) or calculate the way I would expect it to. I consistently get results I didn't expect.
