CC` series connection cables (modules) are the shorter version of the standard cables, and will work with any Turbo series battery pack. They are only 1.5` (.5 m) long, and prevent tangled cables.
To use a Turbo-type battery pack with the Canon 580EX II flash, you will have to disable Flash Custom Function #01 on the flash.
