ZEISS Anti-Fog Lens Wipes (30-Pack)

At first, the product did not seem appealing. It seemed like a high priced gimmick. But then, after more use and reorder(s) I came to realize that the wipes actually work and are a hit with my family. I have gone through five (5) boxes of the product and I recant my previous commentary. A bit expensive ( thus the loss of one star) but other wish a good product.

I have tried a full box of these wipes and I will not purchase again. Save your money and buy a good eye glass wipe and liquid instead. These wipes leave streaks and they really don't help with fogging glasses.

As I wrote in my previous review, these wipes are ok. I have not changed my opinion. The wipes are good ONLY if you will use them to wipe your glasses or sunglasses if you are wearing a mask. But you can also do that effectively with a good quality microfiber cloth and some eye glass cleaner. No need to buy this product. They do the same thing. I tried both to compare. Where this product might have a niche market (use) would be if you used this product to wipe off your glasses when you come in from the cold into a heated environment. Maybe. The product is ok but it is NOT worth the cost if all you are doing is wiping your glasses or sunglasses because you are wearing a mask.

I received this product today. Unlike the testers I purchased this product. Well, the reviews below seem to indicate that the product has its faults and is not that great. I concur. To start off, Zeiss could have provided more wipes for the price. At .0.26 per wipe, it is a bit excessive. The main ingredient in the wipe aside from the wipe itself, is isopropyl alcohol. This is by no means, an expensive chemical. Very easily found at any photography store. As for the product's other features, Zeiss claims that their product is an anti-fog wipe. Perhaps. But you can also buy a large eye glass cleaner bottle and a high quality, lint less microfiber cloth for a much cheaper price. The only drawback is that you have to lug around a bottle of cleaner that can open up at the worst of times. So, this is one good feature of the Zeiss product. Zeiss makes many good products, and you can trust their quality. But, for this product, well, their product is so so becasue the product leaves streaks on the eye glassed themselves and no amount of polishing the glasses removes all the streaks. I am also a bit dubious about the claim that you need to use this product every few days. Time will tell if it lives up to Zeiss' reputation for quality. Would I buy it again? Yes, because it comes in a sealed envelope. And no because for what it offers the consumer, you can do much better at a lower unit cost. Its ok, not fantastic.
