FotodioX Mount Adapter for Pentax K-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera

Over the years, one gets somewhat skeptical of inexpensive Third Party products which are supposed to work with expensive First Party gear. We've all had the unfortunate experience of these products not fitting or functioning properly which invariably, we end up stating within our heads, or worse, by our colleagues and friends, 'Well, you get what you pay for schmuck! I had this skepticism when purchasing the adapter but the price seemed so reasonable, I wouldn't hate myself more than I already do if it turned out to be a dud. I pulled the adapter out of the box and was surprised, pleasantly surprised, of the build. Metal, solid, nice weight to it - well okay! Still questioning my initial pleasant feeling, I gingerly lined up the red and white dots of the Pentax to E-Mount adapter on both an a6500 and A7IV, I was again surprised that I had to give it a touch more muscle to twist the adapter on. A very nice, solid and tight fit - as it should be. Well, well, well. My copy seemed to be perfectly engineered. But no. My brain wouldn't let it go. Surely when I put the lens on, it'll crack or worse, break my dearly loved vintage lenses. With various vintage lenses on it from the small Pentax 50mm 1.4 to the 35-105mm 3.5 pile of glass and metal, they twisted on and off perfectly, there was no play whatsoever between the body, adapter and lens. They ain't going anywhere. I stood there, mouth agape in excitement as I flicked on the power and with some menu adjustments to release the shutter, I started snapping away. This adapter is the excellent. There have been no issues with its use and the final results are exactly what I hoped for. So go on people, and find your inner creativity with lens adaptations and bring some photographic beauty into the world. FotoDioX has got your back.

This adapter works great. Solid build. It lets me put old Pentax lenses on my Sony a9, a6500 and a7S. It's so easy to focus manually with the Sony cameras. Great buy!

Had a couple of 1975 k mount lenses for a Pentax SRL that I wanted to use for my a6600. Buying this basically gave me 2 lenses for under 25 dollars. This is well worth the price. It's sturdy, and easy to attach and detach.

Can't get any better for the price. Nice and cheap but quality is there. Finish is great. The connection to the body is secure with no play and ditto with the lens. Camera can focus to infinity. Not much else to it! Would definitely recommend!
