This is a manual adapter and so lens functions that rely on electronic communication between the lens and the camera body such as auto focus, auto exposure, and image stabilization will not function while using this adapter. Because Nikon G-Type lenses don t have manual aperture rings, your lens aperture will default to the highest f-stop while using this adapter. Therefore, it is recommended that you set your exposure manually or shoot in Aperture Priority mode to avoid under-exposing your images. Note that with enough shift movement, vignetting may occur on lenses with certain focal lengths.
