The M42-M M adapter from Kipon is designed to allow M42 lenses to be mounted onto Leica M bodies. Featuring a helicoid tube, this adapter can be turned to further focus the lens, making macro shooting possible. When the helicoid is adjusted out of its original position, infinity focus will no longer be available. When the adapter is in its original position, the infinity focus function will work as usual.
