The Collapsible Rubber Lens Hood II from Sensei is a 46mm hood that blocks unwanted stray light from entering your camera s lens, minimizing flare and leaving an image s integrity intact without diminished contrast. Light reflection and flare are minimized by the hood s ridged interior and matte finish. The hood attaches to the lens via the threaded internal ring, which screws into the lens front filter thread ring. It may also be attached to a filter with a front thread, like a UV filter. The threaded internal ring will accept a lens cap, protecting the lens from dust, fingerprints, and scratches when not in use.
