Haida Drop-In Neutral Density Filter Kit for Haida M10 Filter Holder

This Haida Drop-In Neutral Density Filter Kit contains three filters that can be used individually to create a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. The included filters reduce the amount of light entering the lens by 6, 10, and 15 stops, respectively. Each is mounted within a drop-in assembly that is made specifically to fit between the separately available Haida M10 Filter Holder and adapter ring for the filter holder.

This Drop-In Neutral Density Filter for M10 Filter Holder from Haida provides a 6-stop exposure reduction across the entire image area, allowing a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required to be used. Using a longer shutter speed makes it possible to increase blur to convey a sense of movement, or to dial in a video camera frame rate. Increased density also makes it possible to shoot using wider lens apertures, helping to isolate a subject from the background and increasing bokeh.

This drop-in filter is made to specifically fit the Haida M10 Filter Holder System. It is constructed from optical glass for clarity and color fidelity, and does not affect the coloration of the image. To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface includes 10 layers of anti-reflection multicoating. The additional nano coating provides an improved beading effect when the surface comes in contact with water or oil, allowing for easier cleaning.
