Ice ND100000 Filter Overview

The 62mm ND100000 Multicoated Solar ND Filter from Ice is a neutral density filter with a 100,000x filter factor that provides a 16.5-stop exposure reduction. It creates a darkening of the entire image area, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing exposure time or increasing the aperture, you can convey movement and control the depth of field more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

This neutral density filter is constructed from optical glass for clarity and color fidelity. It features a slim aluminum alloy filter ring that helps prevent vignetting while remaining durable and lightweight. This version also has an eight layered multi-coating on either side, for 16 layers in total.

This filter is designed specifically for photography applications. This filter is not suitable for direct solar viewing with the naked eye, including with optical viewfinders.
