The 82mm, 10-stop Pro ND Lens Filter from Kolari Vision is a circular filter with 82mm threading on both sides. It features multicoated Gorilla Glass, which is ultra-thin yet very strong when it comes to direct impact. Its strength and coating also make it highly scratch-resistant. Additionally, thanks to the coating, the glass is also resistant to water and oil while reducing reflections for optimal image quality. The slim filter frame is made of brass and has knurled sides.
The ND filter darkens the image a bit when shooting in outdoor environments. It allows you to apply motion blur to moving subjects and lets you shoot with slower shutter speeds and longer exposures. In addition to this, this ND filter is also capable of being used in combination with infrared filters up to 720nm. One way of achieving this is by using it with a Kolari clip-in IR filter, sold separately. The clip-in filter mounts to the camera lens mount magnetically. It secures between the camera and lens. With such a clip-in filter mounted, you can additionally attach this ND filter to the front of your compatible lens, and the two filters will work together at the same time.
