Singh-Ray 67mm Thin Hi-Lux Warming UV Filter
The Singh-Ray 67mm Thin Hi-Lux Warming UV Filter is a general-use filter designed to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight while purposely creating a warm cast over an entire image. This effect can be obtained under daylight when this filter is used on a film camera system with daylight film installed, or on a digital camera system with its daylight white balance setting selected.
This filter is constructed from optical glass and features a thin, 4.3mm aluminum alloy filter ring for durability which also minimizes the potential for vignetting while remaining lightweight. The filter ring also includes 67mm front threads that allow for use with other filters that have 67mm rear threads.
The Singh-Ray 67mm Thin Hi-Lux Warming UV Filter is also useful as a general protective filter to leave on lenses at all times. Such filters help to reduce dust and moisture from reaching your front lens element and provide additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratching could occur.
