UV light can create a blue color cast, but this UV filter cuts out 99.6% of ultraviolet light, helping sharpen your images, especially in hazy conditions. Keep the UV filter on the lens at all times without affecting exposure settings. If the camera is dropped, the UV filter may be the difference between replacing a filter and replacing a lens.
The filter is double-threaded for stacking filters or using screw-mount lens caps.
