Meike MK-L-AF1 13mm and 18mm Extension Tubes for Leica L

They fulfill their purpose the material is made of a hard plastic. My experience has been good and for the price, you can't argue much about it.

Very good extension tubes. Especially for the price. I'm using these tubes for micro work; Nikon Z 7II with a Nikon Z 105mm f2.8 lens. Using both tubes together. The tubes fit tight but not too tight. They easily click into position with no play. I've had tubes before that were near impossible to remove because of such a tight fit. These tubes fit perfectly.

I have always owned and used extension tubes for all my camera systems going back to the 1980's. It is disappointing that Canon doesn't make any for their RF system. My go to lens for photographing wildflowers in recent years was the EF 100-400L II with the 25mm Canon tube. I traded that lens in for the RF 100-500L and needed tubes. These did the trick. All the lens and camera functions work. With that said, there more play than I am accustomed to and they don't seem to be very ruggedly built. I would like to see Canon make some extension tubes for their RF system with the same standards as their EF/RF adapters. In the meanwhile these tubes do the trick for a very reasonable price. They aren't the ideal long term tubes that you will want to keep for decades (like my 25 year old Canon EF tubes), but they are a good value for your money right now.

Compared to buying a dedicated macro lens, this is a very inexpensive alternative, that actually does the job quite well. The only complaint is that you must have a LOT of ambient lighting available to get the most out of these tubes. However, they work well, and do what they are supposed to.

No issues at all using these tubes with several Nikon lenses. No light leaks, tight (but not overly tight) connections, AF and aperature work fine and EXIF data is transferred. One more tube at about 30mm would make this set perfect for my purposes. Over all a very good value.

I've used extension tubes for years, with multiple brands/mounts for both cameras and tubes. The tubes have always come in sets of three, though some have also been available singly. These apparently come only in what I consider to be an incomplete set of two. I knew this when I ordered them, so I'm not saying it was a surprise, but if a manufacturer is supplying less than the industry-standard package, they should expect less than the highest rating unless they provide the finest quality. This company doesn't. So, one tube missing plus mediocre quality equals one star missing. Functionally, they did what they were supposed to do. The unlocking mechanisms are not the best and the overall feel is not comparable to something made by Nikon or Canon, or my old Olympus OM set, but neither is the price. They do seem well made FOR THE PRICE, comparable to all the off brand tubes I've encountered and better than the real junk that's out there. Bottom line - I'm seriously considering buying a second set, to make up for the missing third tube.

I wanted a macro accessory, which I do occasionally, and I've seen several good reviews on the web for Meike Extension Tubes, for the price it's surprising, the quality seems to be there and it's solid on the camera ring, no movement, very satisfied.
