FotodioX 77mm Reverse Mount Macro Adapter Ring for Nikon F-Mount Cameras

Got this - and worked as advertised on my 10-24mm wide-angles Nikon lens. The depth of field is INCREDIBLY shallow, you'll probably want to use the live preview feature on your DSLR if you have one. Tripod is a must to keep the camera steady, and put your subject on a flat surface that is level with the lens... because it's gonna be really close to the lens especially if it's a wide angle! Be prepared for lots of trial and error. Be prepared to experiment with various settings - your focal length, shutter speed, ISO, etc - which I knew I'd be getting into when I purchased this little fun close up implement. I found if I zoomed in (from 10mm to 24mm), it affected how easily I was able to focus. Photos are from testing out this reverse adapter for about 10 minutes on a small crystal-coated rock; quick phone shot of my small tester rock and the best close up of individual crystals on the rock - that are the size of grains of sand! I need to spend some more time to figure out how to get sharper photos.
