Ruggard Lens Case 4.75 x 4.5" (Black)

The walls of this case are extra-thick, affording my lens a high level of protection. The case is very well built, with smooth zippers, tight seams, and quality material. The mesh pocket on the inside of the top is a nice little spot to store lens wipes or other flat items. Do note the outer dimensions when buying this case, for due to its thick walls it will take up a fair amount of space.

I use this to hold my Batis lenses. It's nice to have it on my belt loop so I can switch my lenses on the go. I was thinking of trying it on my easyrig to see if it fits - definitely a good move to have a little pouch on the go.

The 4.75 x 4.5 Ruggard lens case is a very good fit for my Fujinon 10-24 f/4 wide angle lens with the lens hood reversed. There is even room for an extra lens filter in the handy mesh pocket inside the lid. Inserting the lens with its included wraparound pouch cloth minimizes any wobble inside this case. Ruggard = rugged. The snug-fitting overlapping lid and thick interior padding cushion this lens against any hazard one is likely to encounter. The padding is about three times as thick as the padding of a Slinger lens case that I own. But all this protection comes at a price: the case is huge, and the lid is difficult to zip. On the plus side, the case is extremely well-built and *very* attractive, with mustard yellow padding on the inside, matching yellow zipper on the outside, and faux leather material on the back and bottom. The gray piping is also highly luminescent. Two layers of velcro secure the belt clip, which can be attached without having to remove one's belt. The hand strap and detachable shoulder strap offer other convenient carry options. The Ruggard lens case delivers superb protection. But don't even think about putting it inside your camera bag.

This Ruggard Lens Case is the perfect size for my Nikon 16 - 80 lens. It didn't fit in any other case that I had with the lens hood attached. this worked and it's sturdy and well made.

I use this case for a 35mm prime lens and it does exactly what I want it to do, protect the lens.
