LensCoat Cover for Canon RF 200-800mm f/6.3-9 IS USM Lens (Realtree Max 4)

I got the digital camo for my Canon 200-800. The cover looks really nice and will definitely provide for some protection from minor bumps and bruises, as well as dust. The unique lightweight (nylon I think) solution for the exposed zoom part of the lens will help keep dust out. Each end has an elastic strap to hold it in place on top of the other parts of the cover. There is enough slack to allow normal use of the zooming mechanism. I can't speak of the durabilty of this, only time will tell. I did have the impression that this cover would protect the lens in the rain, but there are so many breaks in the cover between parts (it comes in a bunch of small parts, each covering a small part of the lens, I see only minimal protect in the lightest drizzle. I will definitely still have a rain cover handy. I need one for the camera anyway, so not a big deal. When I pull the lens out of the bag some of the small pieces (call them bands) will sometimes catch on the bag and twist, requiring straightening. This could potentially affect durability of those small bands. Wonder if individual bands are replacably? Overall happy with the purchase. Could be better.
