This 82mm Wolverine Neutral Night Light Pollution Filter from Kase removes the yellow cast caused by light pollution during night photography, isolating the harmful effect of artificial lights on imaging. Especially useful for late-night, long-exposure imaging near cities or other sources of light pollution, this filter cuts light from the color spectrum, like that from low-CRI light sources.

This filter is made of shock-resistant optical glass and features multicoating for optimal sharpness, light transmission, and the reduction of flare. The coating also resists water and oil, as well as scratches and minor abrasions, making it ideal for use on location in harsh environments. It attaches to a lens in seconds using the included 82mm magnetic adapter ring, which allows up to four magnetic filters to be stacked for combined effects.

The Star Focusing Tool from Kase is a night time focusing aid that provides accurate focus on points of illumination in low-light circumstances. This rotating aluminum ring attaches to standard 82mm filter threads on any type of lens. The special pattern design makes the diffraction of the light source easier to capture for increased accuracy. Using manual focus, preset the focus by adjusting it until the star pattern elements converge, then remove the focusing tool and shoot with confidence that the desired focus point is correctly set.

The rotating ring allows the effect to be repositioned for optimal effect and features front threading to accept a lens cap, additional filters, or other accessories.
