This SLR Magic Filter Kit contains a solid variable neutral density filter that can be mounted onto lenses with 82mm front threads and provides an exposure reduction of 1.3 to 6 stops. Additionally, an ultraviolet and infrared control filter is included, which can be mounted on top of the solid variable neutral density filter. The UV and IR control filter compliments the use of the solid variable neutral density filter by helping to maintain a proportion of infrared to visible light within a scene or image that does not result in unwanted color shifts, which can otherwise occur when using multi-stop, neutral-density filtration.
