The Speedmaster 90mm f/1.5 Lens for Leica M, in silver, from Mitakon Zhongyi is a full-frame medium telephoto portrait lens designed to produce distortion-free images and provide great depth of field control. The lens can achieve creamy bokeh at maximum aperture, and the 9-blade round iris allows you to get round highlights. The lens maintains consistency from edge to edge.
Featuring two extra-low dispersion elements, the Speedmaster 90mm f/1.5 reduces color fringing and chromatic aberrations. The color rendering is also vividly close to what the human eye sees. Bright/dark transitions in the image are reproduced almost completely free of color artifacts. Chromatic aberration is corrected and minimized with elements of special glass with anomalous partial dispersion. It s too minimal to be visible. The 27° angle of view provides an ideal perspective for portraits, avoiding the compression effects visible in longer lenses.
