Cleaned sensor on a6500 sensor adequately. Just be sure to have a blower to remove the loose dirt/dust then follow the instructions and be gentle.

Being aware that sensors are critical parts of a camera, I have searched and found this product in , from where I used to buy camera and accessories also. Thanks a lot to team to think proactively and find and provide us with all the related, useful products of a camera. I used this kit to remove dust from my Nikon camera. It's small, tiny but the work it does is great!

After 35,000 shutter actuations and many lens changes my sensor was dirtier than I realized. The swab and liquid vial are nicely designed. The vial of cleaner is designed so you just touch it to each corner of the swab for easily controlled application. The swab is designed so you can see the liquid soak in, and it doesn't get either oversaturated or undersaturated. There are directions for this in the package, but you need to consult the VisibleDust web site for how to use the swab. The directions could be better. It was quite easy to sweep the sensor one time with each side of the swab. I was worried that it would be messy at the edges, but I had no problem with that. I tried brushing and blowing the dirt off, but that did almost nothing. The dirt was stuck on there. My results were nearly perfect but not quite perfect. I checked at f/32. The first photo shows the final results. The second photo shows before and after, with greatly increased contrast. View these at full size if you can. After cleaning with two swabs there were a few faint but distinct pieces of dirt that had been moved but not removed. I don't believe they would be visible in a normal photo. Perhaps with better technique I could lift these off. There is no dirt visible at the edges, so I didn't need the edge swab.

I had been unable to get dust off the detector. Tried the Nikon auto-clean repeatedly but it did not work. Then tried a blower. No good. One swipe with the cleaning kit and it was fixed. I was somewhat apprehensive since Nikon says not to try cleaning the sensor. I will be buying more of these, even tho they are expensive.

Gave me a link to the product I specifically needed and linked me to online videos on how to best use the product correctly. I was flabbergasted by the whole experience of the impossible to easy as. . . Problem solved.
