Delta 1 Gray Card - 4 x 5'

I like it because it's compact and fits in my bag. I have used it several times and seems to be accurate.

Bought the Vello 3 size set & compared those to this one and the Delta beats it hands down... 'cept for it being cardboard and all. - - - Use the Delta 1 Gray card (cardboard) in the studio here and compared this to the Vello (plastic) three sizes set that just arrived. - - - First pic WB set from the Delta, second the Vello. Eyeballing I could see the Vello being cooler / bluer. Pics show the difference. With WB set from the Vello there's a bit of red / warmth being introduced that's spotted in the whites with the Delta card now picking up some as well. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of bothering with a gray card at all. - - - - So what's one to do with the Vellos? WB off the white chips only. As for the gray chips... I'm cutting up the one of the Deltas and gluing it to the plastic Vello for a more accurate reference. And BELIEVE those other one star reviews of the Vello reporting problems of it being true 18% gray.

The card is basically a thin cardboard sheet plucked from a larger piece as evidenced by the unfinished tabs on the sides. One side is the cardboard color we all know and the other side is a bit darker than middle gray by my tests, possibly painted? Get a better product, skip this one.

I bought this gray card for a photography class I'm taking. In the first two days of use, the gray paper has separated from its cardboard backing. As you can see, the paper and cardboard are not damaged; they split on their own.
