Kinotehnik LCDVF4N Loupe for Nikon D800 / D800E Camera
The LCDVF4N Loupe from Kinotehnik is designed specifically for the Nikon D800 and D800E digital cameras, which have 3.2 LCD screens. It features an achromatic lens pair consisting of two optical components vacuum-cemented together to form an achromatic doublet, which is computer-optimized to correct for on-axis spherical and chromatic aberrations. It has a 40mm-wide aperture and magnifies images 220%. Additionally, while it does not actually feature a diopter and is set to 0 by default, it allows for the use of eyeglasses or contact lenses with prescriptions of +0.5 to -2.
By blocking out stray light that causes glare, the LCDVF4N enables you to view the LCD during photo and video capture in direct sunlight. Additionally, the loupe features an anti-reflective coating and is splash / dust-proof. It can also rotate 180° for easy switching between right and left-eye use. The loupe permits the use of the battery and wireless grip, as well as all other original accessories.
The LCDVF4N has no moving parts. Its magnetic metal frame is housed in a plastic clip-on frame that attaches to the camera s LCD monitor in the same way as its original screen protector, for quick, easy mounting and removal without any wear and tear. No adhesive is used. The loupe s body is constructed from impact-resistant ABS, while the supplied eyecup and eye cushion are made of silicone rubber and Bluestar microfiber, respectively. Also included are a protective neoprene pouch, a lanyard and a cleaning cloth.
