Expert Shield Crystal Clear Screen Protector for Canon T8i

This product comes with 2 screen protectors, a micro fiber cloth and an instruction card which also provides a website with a video that shows how to install the protector. I bought this for my Canon EOS T8i because it was cut to be an exact fit and it was just that, an exact fit. Beyond that, it's a waste of money. Because there is no adhesive (they claim they use a gel to make it easily removed from the screen) it adheres to your camera screen via static cling. Despite the camera being brand new and following the directions for cleaning my screen to the letter, this protector only adhered to my screen in the center, not around the very edges (all the edges - top, bottom and both sides) While 98% of the bubbles did come out using a credit card wrapped with the micro fiber cloth - to avoid scratches - there appeared to be a film under the protector where it was actually adhered to the screen in the center area. Once installed on my camera, there was a air gap all the way around the protector - along the very edge where it simply would not seal or adhere to the camera screen no matter what I tried. Obviously, dust, dirt or skin oil from your nose when using the diopter to focus, will find it's way under those unsealed edges. Being an OCD personality, I can't live with this. This product didn't work for me and I can't recommend it to anyone - even if they aren't OCD sufferers - like myself. What I can recommend is that you keep looking for something else. Hope this helps someone out there with their decision.
