Expert Shield Glass Screen Protector with Top LCD Shield for Nikon D850

I've always used screen protection on my phones, but my cameras had protection. The D850 that I recently purchased, didn't have one. It was easy to apply and seems to be perfectly clear. The surprise was the protector for the information panel. I haven't had a problem on any of my cameras. but lit made sense to me, so I applied it also. No problem installing.

This is a new purchase and the first time trying this product. Only comments I can make at this point is it the installation was reasonably simple as long as you followed the instructions. The protector screen looks really good on the camera and does not appear to affect the view in the monitor. Time will tell how well it stands up to the bumps and bangs of use. So far happy with the purchase.

Very easy to put on if you follow the instructions. Use the tape to pick up any unseen dust. Easy to align with the edges of the screen on my D850. Much easier than a phone. I would not have a camera without it. You never know when a small scratch could happen. Your camera is worth it.

Product fit screen of Nikon D850 well and went on with no bubbles, which is remarkable in itself. So far (after 20 minutes), the edges seem firmly fixed. Top screen protector also fit well but I was unable to work out several significant bubbles and finally took the smaller protector off. Although the instructions refer to "Step 2" in which the outer protective layer of the screen protectors is peeled off using the step 2 tab to start the peel, the glass for the large monitor screen did not come with the Step 2 tabs and did not seem to have an outer protective layer at all (I stopped trying to find an edge to peel back because I didn't want to damage the screen protector-hopefully it will peel off by itself if there is one. The smaller top screen protector did have a step 2 tab that worked as described. Little information is given about the nature and quality of the glass. No cleaning wipe or microfiber cloth is provided; the consumer is instructed to remove any dust on the screen with painters tape and to create a taped hinge to align the protector accurately. The tape I used for my hinge was not stiff enough and came off during the final application, so I had to align it by hand. I would have gone with the Vello protector if it had come up on my initial search as this protector has a much larger track record and has worked well on my Nikon D500. I gave the Expert Shield a 3-star rating for the inconsistent instructions and difficulty applying (and removing) the top screen protector.
