Oben QR-53 Overview
The Oben QR-53 Long Lens Quick Release Plate is an aluminum-constructed Arca-type dovetail plate that provides quick release functionality to larger telephoto lenses. It is compatible with cameras and smaller telephoto lenses as well. The 5.3" long plate has two slide-adjusting, 1/4" -20 mounting screws that mount to the bottom of a lens collar foot, and one of the screws can be removed in case the foot has only one socket. The screws provide a secure fit by tightening down with the D-rings, but you can also use the included hex key or a screwdriver in the slot. Two safety stops prevent the plate from sliding out if a clamp is accidentally opened.
