Benro Mammoth Center Column Accessory

This is an absolute must for the Benro Mammoth, especially if you are using it with the Benro Polaris. I purchased this because is pairing the Benro Polaris with the Benro Mammoth, which is a great pairing in my opinion. However, the Benro Polaris, when automatically going into off/storage position, does not have enough clearance between the altitude/elevation knob and the mounting bracket of the Benro Mammoth tripod. Additionally, when I removed the Benro Polaris from the Benro Mammoth and installed it onto the Benro Mammoth Center Column Accessory, I noticed some scratches on the bottom of the Benro Polaris! Yikes! Obviously, this is only cosmetic, but the center column accessory will prevent further scratches and scuffs because it has a rubber pad, especially if you are like me and intend to make this its permanent home. (If you are familiar with Benro and their products, I have only had some of their items for a while, but I am noticing consistently sturdy construction, and nothing slips on their rubber pads!) Thus, the scratches are out of sight and out of mind! As far as functionality, the column accessory is snug and the installation screws screw tight. The hardware is so quality on all pieces that I did not worry about stripping, as I tend to be an overtightener. As far as appearance, it completely matches the Benro Mammoth. If you are picky like me and have noticed that some companies offer accessories that look and feel like they were not only made in a different factory but also a different planet, then you will appreciate the same quality look and feel so much that you will probably think the same thought as me: these should just automatically come with it!
