The mounting base features a numbered panoramic scale, and so does the column tilting mechanism. The lightweight aluminum column features a reversible 3/8 -16 to 1/4 -20 threaded tripod head mounting screw, making it compatible with virtually any head. There is also a spring-loaded ballast hook on the other end to add weight for counterbalance and better stability.
