Oben 1/4"-20 Screw with D-Ring for QR Plates

I tried to use this screwed directly into the bottom of the camera with a camera strap. It failed and my camera hit the ground. I realize this isn't the intended purpose, that's why I gave 3 starts instead of 1.

I was looking to attach a lanyard to my universal camera handle grip. Since the handle has a 1/4 screw hole on the bottom, this screw fit perfectly. I threaded a length of cord through the D-Ring. While not a perfect solution, this works well when I have a lightweight point-and-shoot camera attached to the handle grip.

I use these little dealies as anchors on a small quick release plate so I can carry big lenses around on a strap. They are working really well for me.

There's a small screw on the (Manfrotto compatible) mounting plate for the Crane 2, as well as a knock-off glidecam I used to use. I lost it. Bought this to replace it and it works like a charm!

Got two of these screw for the D-Ring capability. Unfortunately they were not as tall as I needed. These are great little screws, but I should have checked the specs first.

Bought for Arca style release plate, as shown on their web site. This screw is too short to screw into the plate past the threads, to allow the camera to shift. I called, and mentioned the picture on their site was confusing, and that the PR plate was what I have. Had to purchase the longer screws, and return these shorter ones. Return was paid for by the company, and everything has been credited as it should be. Screws are much smaller than what comes on the original plate, and they are more difficult to tighten by hand. I mentioned this to , and said it would be nice if they could find a different source, that more closely matched the larger D ring that comes with the plates. I had purchased an extra plate off E bay, that was missing the screw, and decided to try these, instead of paying much more for an actual OEM screw. Other than that, Im very satisifed with the service provides.
