Sirui LE-60 Leveling Base

If I could give this POC zero I would. There are no words to describe how bad this leveler is. It doesn't stay fixed! I tried to use it with Canon R5 on ifootage video head. It moves in all directions. Also extremely uncomfortable. Really dumbfounded who made this tool. Positive reviews are fake!

I'm using this with a nodal ninja pano head setup and fuji camera. I didn't go for one of the screw leveling bases because I usually find myself in precarious tripod positions on a cliff face or rocky trail, and when i get the tripod stable sometimes I don't want to mess with it any further. I just want to use a ball head to get level, and I wasn't sure if the screw leveling base would give me enough adjustment. At any rate, The movement of this ball head is nice and fluid, and I can level my setup fairly quickly, but then I really have to crank down on it to get it stable enough not to drift with my large wacky setup on top. I bought this because it advertised handling a 33 lb load, but maybe that's only after the grease wears off a little bit, at which point it probably wont be as nice to get into position. I wish it had a drag feature like the other ball head I have, then this might not be an issue

The lock-down lever only locks down with a tremendous amount of force for such a small device. I worry that it will fail before long. But it is nicely made otherwise, very smooth operation. Placement of the level bubble may be problematic, depending on what is mounted on top of the base. I used a quick release plate whose locking knob just clears the bubble when screwed down tight, just by chance.

I've attached this to my RocknRoller cart for a sort of makeshift camera cart. Holds my Manfrotto head and Sony F55 with no issues so far!
