Differing itself from many inexpensive ball heads on the market, the base of this head can rotate in addition to the ball movement. Speedy Attachment Without a Quick Release s Additional Weight
Just 3 or 4 half-turns of the mounting platform attaches the camera to the ballhead, and the underside of the platform is ergonomically designed to aide in this task. Slik s solution here is slightly slower than snap-in and at least as fast as vise grip quick release assemblies, but eliminates their size, weight and cost.
