The detachable ball head has no visible ball or pan locks, instead all movements are controlled with the gear lock located at the bottom of head. The 9.35 oz tripod is designed to hold small DSLRs and mirrorless cameras that weight up to 6.6 lb, and cameras will mount to the head via its 1/4" -20 mount.
