JOBY GorillaPod 3K PRO Stand (Black/Charcoal)

Works great, and I particularly appreciate the sturdy feel of the metal with our gear. It unlocks some really dynamic camera placement in a variety of situations without the weight/size of a full tripod.

I experimented with another (non pro) GorillaPod model before exchanging it to upgrade to the PRO model, and I am not at all disappointed with that decision. The upgraded ball head, easy release mount, smooth pan, and sturdy construction are all abundantly improved over the base model I previously tried. The legs were a bit stiff to maneuver at first, but have gradually loosened a bit over time (though I hope it won't become TOO loose, as I've read in some reviews). This holds my mirrorless camera tightly with ease, even at awkward, seemingly precarious angles. I ESPECIALLY love this product when combined with MagSafe iPhone mount -- I can easily swap between my camera phone in seconds. This would be 5 stars if it were a bit cheaper -- this costs almost as much as my Manfrotto 63 tripod which I feel is much more elevated in terms of quality versatility, though of course there are very different use cases for the two devices. However, the ability to update this rig over time with add-ons is a very positive factor as well. Thankfully, also bundled in a free Joby Beamo with my order (.60+ value), so in that way I'd say that this is more than worth the price tag (but keeping my review at 4 stars since I'm not positive that will always include that bundled freebie in the future when someone else may be reading this review).

Compre este modelo y al poco uso se comenzaron a desprender partes de los brazos , logre que la marca me respondiera y me cambiara el producto , al tiempo de uso ocurri lo mismo. El uso solo ha sido solo con cmaras pequeas (Gopro), jamas le confiara el agarre de una cmara ms grande .

This is much stronger than my old Joby from years ago. The Arca Swiss clamp is beautiful, except that it takes a while to neuter the pop-up button that interferes with proper RRS Arca Swiss plates occasionally. Highly recommend for light carry to take pics in the dark.
